# How do I view if an agent has a license assigned? During the installation process, an agent will automatically be assigned a license from the group it installs with if one is available, or the group’s [source distribution group](https://cybercrucible.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/CYB/pages/58359809/How+Do+I+Automatically+Allocate+Licenses+from+a+Distribution+Group). On the Agents page, the License Name column shows the license that is assigned to the agent.
